UD volunteer Development drives to be a Center for Excellence in volunteering; we   develop, enable, influence and drive excellence in volunteering.

Our vision is to seek to unlock the full potential of volunteering.

We believe passionately in the benefits of volunteering, fully recognizing the contribution that volunteering makes to achieving local and national outcomes.

 OUR AIM IS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER AND DIVERSITY OF VOLUNTEERS BY;

•  Driving modernizing approaches to volunteering
•  Improving the access to volunteering opportunities
•  Enhancing the volunteering experience

We link up volunteer travelers from abroad in working with our local partners ensuring we promote Ethos in tourism, that volunteering benefit our local partners and the volunteers are recognized for the part they play in contributing to Kenya’s ‘wealth’ through the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Participants come from all types of backgrounds. Students have integrated their volunteering efforts into their curriculum earning credits at their university, college or high school, while others have been professionals, gap year students or recent retirees looking to take some time off and offer their skills and knowledge to those who need it.
